Tightness of screens
Delight in the shower. Our goal is to provide all Ronal products with optimal water tightness and resistance against splashing water. Ronal shower enclosures are TÜV certified and comply with all necessary quality requirements. Our development staff, working together with plumbers, pursue the ongoing improvement of our products. Still, there is the possibility that individual drops can run down the outside door panels and hinges. To make a selected shower enclosure meet your requirements, you should consider the described differences in available protection against splashing water. It is not suitable to use Open, Swing, and Pur enclosures with a hydro-massage panel. The means of protection against splashing water are defined by the shape of the frames, panels, and hinges. The shape of the shower has no effect on water tightness. When making an individual choice of a product from the extensive Ronal production assortment, you should also take the functionality and optical exceptionality into consideration.

FRAMELESS SCREENS
- These fulfil the highest optical demands; however, in the area of the door they cannot be perfectly tight.
- They do not have a lower closing horizontal profile which would serve as a “water brake”; to be able to open the door without problems, there must be a small, technically necessary gap between the doors and the floor through which there can be a small outflow of water.
FRAMELESS SCREENS WITH SILL BAR
- These provide greater protection against spraying water; during intensive showers a small volume of water may escape, in particular, in the case of the pumping of water
WING DOOR WITH FRAME PROFILES
- This provides far-reaching protection against spraying water, even in the case of high loading.
- In terms of functionality, a small gap is necessary at the door as a small escape of water cannot be excluded.
INTERNAL SLIDING AND FOLDING DOOR WITH FRAME PROFILES
- These provide the highest protection possible against sprayed water.
